The Animal Welfare Foundation is defined by the work it has done in the past 30 years to improve the welfare of animals in Canada. Whether providing emergency funding to a pony shelter in Newfoundland or ensuring animals used in research are free from pain, the Foundation has an enviable national record of making timely, strategic grants to help animals in need, and of fostering positive changes in attitudes about animals through research and education.
